Achievements: National Honor Society 2 Years, FFA 3 Years, Strength Club 4 Years. 4 Time State Qualifyer in Wrestling & 4 Year Lettermen, 3 Year starter & lettermen in Football. Josh was an All State Wrestler his Junior Year finishing 3rd at the State Wrestling Championships in the Heavyweight division.
Reason For Nomination: Josh is a leader in Mexico High School and in the community. He is involved in FFA & NHS in leadership positions. He shows great character in everything he is involved in and he exemplifies what we expect as a student at Mexico High School. Josh separated his shoulder in week #7 in Football and had to have surjury. He showed great leadership as a student coach in Football & Wrestling in the midst of his senior season. Josh was able to come back after Christmas and be back in the line-up in Wrestling and has won 16 straight matches and was the District Champion on Saturday.
Plans After High School: He plans to attend college and pursue a degree in Agriculture Education

High School: Versailles High School
GPA: 3.5
Sports Played: Wrestling 4 years
Achievements: Has qualified for the State wrestling tournament the past 3 years. Was District runner up last year and finished 4th at the State Tournament On Saturday, January 14 set the school record for most wins in a career. Is also a member of the FFA program
Reason For Nomination: Isaiah is a great role model for all students, and respected by teachers and students.
Plans After High School: Isaiah will report for Duty with the United States Marine Corp in August after his graduation.

Achievements: James is the captain of the basketball team, senior class president, member of key club, member of Future Teachers of America.
Reason For Nomination: James is a leader on the court, baseball field, and in the classroom. He has a Christian attitude that makes other students look up to him. He leads by example and not by words. He has worked hard in the classroom and also in the off season working on improving his basketball and baseball skills.
Plans After School: He plans on attending Lincoln to get his per-engineering degree and then later attend University of Missouri-Rolla to obtain his engineering degree.
