Reason For Nomination: Elle Miller demonstrates the highest level of hard work, integrity, perseverance, and focus to whatever task is at hand, whether it's academics, sports, work, or community involvement. She is a serious student and athlete who is viewed as a role model by peers, faculty, and staff at California High School. As her English 102 dual credit teacher and mass media class teacher, I can attest that she will take whatever time and whatever steps are necessary in order to turn in an excellent paper or project. Mass media class requires collaborative work, at which she excels, due to her affability. Most importantly, Ms. Miller's stellar character equals those highest academic and sports achievements listed on her resume. She is most certainly "la creme de la creme" among the best of her peers.

Plans After School: She plans to obtain a degree in Biochemistry from the University of Missouri-Columbia. Then, she plans to attend dental school and become an orthodontist.
