Reason For Nomination: Tanner is a tremendous student, athlete, and person. As the captain of our tennis team, he is a great leader and expects nothing but the best from himself and his teammates, both on the court and in the classroom. He is also a leader in his school, serving as the class president on student council during all four years. Balancing two varsity sports with an advanced course load in school is not at easy task and takes a dedicated individual with a strong work ethic. We are fortunate to have a student-athlete like Tanner on our team who excels in this area, both academically and athletically. He has great things ahead of him in life, where he will draw upon his leadership skills and competitive spirit.
Plans After High School: Tanner will attend the University of Arkansas, where he plans to major in international business in the honors college.
