Student Athlete Of The Week For Thursday, May 16, 2012

Student Name: Cassie Hale
High School: Camdenton High School
GPA: 3.88

A three-year starter at midfield, Hale was forced into goalie service after our returning starting goalie broke her thumb.  With limited training at goalie, Cassie Hale has blossomed at the position and has not allowed a goal in the last 5 matches as the Lady Lakers have gone from a starting record of 2-4-0 to a 10-4-1 record.  Even though she is brand new to the position, Hale is giving up less than 1 goal per match on average and has shutouts under her belt.  This 5’11” senior has scholarship opportunities already in the three sports she plays: volleyball, basketball and soccer.
